Attendance & Shifts
Track when employees work, manage shift schedules, handle late arrivals, and review attendance records — all connected to payroll and reporting.
Checking In and Out
Employees clock in and out from the Dashboard using the check-in widget:
- Click Check In when you start your workday.
- A live timer shows your working hours for the day.
- Click Check Out when you finish.
If you arrive late or leave early, the system may prompt you to enter a reason. Your manager can review these in the punctuality reports.
Viewing Attendance
- My Attendances — employees see their own attendance history.
- All Attendances Request — managers and HR review attendance correction requests.
- Attendances Work Record — a detailed grid of work hours across the team.
Shifts
Shifts define when employees are expected to work. Configure shifts under System Settings → Employee → Shifts:
- Fixed shifts — set start and end times (for example, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM).
- Rotating shifts — assign different shifts on a schedule for teams that rotate.
- Grace time — a buffer period before someone is marked late.
Each employee's shift is set in their work information profile.
Late In & Early Out
The system automatically tracks when employees arrive late or leave early based on their shift and grace period settings. View incidents under Attendance → Late In & Early Out.
Attendance Reasons
When employees are late or need to explain an attendance issue, they submit a reason under Attendance → Attendance Reasons. Managers can review and accept or reject these.
Attendance Correction Requests
If an employee forgets to check in or out, they can raise a correction request. HR or the manager reviews it under All Attendances Request and approves or rejects the change.
Biometric Integration
If your organization uses biometric devices, attendance can be recorded automatically. Configure biometric settings under System Settings → Attendance.
Connection to Payroll
Attendance records directly affect payroll. Days absent without approved leave may result in salary deductions when payslips are generated.
