AI Assistant
Get instant answers to HR questions, look up employee information, and complete everyday tasks through a conversational AI assistant built into HRMGridSystem.
Opening the AI Agent
Click AI Agent in the top navigation bar to open the AI workspace. You can ask questions in plain language and the assistant responds based on your permissions and company data.
What You Can Ask
- "How many leave days do I have left?"
- "Show me my attendance for this month."
- "What are the company holidays this year?"
- "Help me understand my latest payslip."
- "What tasks are assigned to me in Project X?"
The assistant can only access information you are permitted to see based on your role.
AI Workspace in Projects
Within Project Management, the AI Workspace helps with project-specific tasks — breaking down work, suggesting task lists, and answering questions about your projects.
For Administrators: AI Orchestration
Administrators can configure how the AI assistant works under AI Orchestration in the sidebar:
- Agent Access — control which employees can use the AI assistant.
- Tool Policies — define what actions the AI can perform on behalf of users.
- Model Policies — choose which AI models are available.
- Skills — enable specialized capabilities for the assistant.
AI settings can also be configured under System Settings → AI Setting.
Privacy & Security
The AI assistant respects the same permission rules as the rest of the application. It cannot access data or perform actions beyond what your role allows. Conversation history is stored securely and can be managed by administrators.
